2025 Challenge

Happy New Year! January feels like the longest month of the year doesn’t it, haha. We’re fast approaching the end of the month now though, so it feels like the perfect time to tell you about the 2025 challenge that I’ve set for myself.

You’ll be seeing more independent patterns from me this year, whoop whoop. As well as my magazine patterns and other commissioned work, this year I will be releasing one pattern every month through 2025. Yes you heard right, ONE PATTERN EVERY MONTH!

Patterns will range from small, quick projects to longer projects you can really get your teeth into. I’d really love for you all to help shape my pattern development so leave me a comment and let me know what you would like to see. Do you need more crochet accessories in your life, have you always fancied crocheting a cushion cover or do you just love to make blankets on repeat (you can never have too many blankets, right?!)

To kick things off we’ll be banishing those January blues with an injection of colour brought to you through the January Scarf. The scarf is made using Hobbii Fluffy Days in shades Deep Pink (15), Steel Blue (09), Mustard (20) and Light Lavender (11). It’s my first time using this yarn and I love it. It super soft with a gentle fluff making it light weight yet warm, perfect for these cold winter days.

The pattern will be released later this week so keep your eyes peeled for the announcement on my socials.
